The second tour event of the season, the 2008 Big Bear Classic was a great success, with over 65 participants from Alberta and B.C., which took place in beautiful Canmore at the Nordic Centre Disc Golf Park. The course was very challenging and technical, which made the competition close for all divisions.
Notables representing Edmonton this tournament were:
Jason Brown - 2nd. place - Novice
David McIntyre - 4th. place - Advanced (after a tie breaker for 3rd. place)
Rick Lichuk - 3rd. place - Masters
Maurice Robillard - 4th. place - Masters
David McIntyre - CTP for a $100
