Your Motorcity Knighthawks are looking forward to lighting up the course for “Knight golf” on Friday, May 31. If you haven’t played “glow-golf”, you’ll love it!

June 1-2 is the tournament proper. 2 days of golf on one of Alberta’s most challenging courses. The Wetaskiwin Disc Golf Course will challenge your game with a well-balanced variety of elevation, tunnels and distance. It remains a favorite of Alberta golfers and has hosted many events including several runnings of the Alberta Open, the Provincial Championships/Provincial doubles, Ice Bowls and of course the Night Owl Cup (re-named slightly this year :)

2013 Alberta Disc Golf Tour

Without further ado here are the dates and times (which can also be found in the EDGA Calendar).

For additional information including the time for on-sight registration and expected round start times can be seen by downloading the attached poster.

The executive remains mostly the same with the only changes being Brendan Millett taking over Competitive League coordinating and Chris Emberly taking over Doubles coordinating.

Financially EDGA is in excellent shape despite the purchasing of the remaining baskets for Rundle and repairs to the ongoing vandalism to them. Building up a reserve for the potential purchase of signage and baskets at Norwester will be the chief priority for 2013.

Competitive League and Chingles will retain the same format as year’s past while Doubles will alternate between Rundle Park and Norwester Park. Dates and time’s for these events can be found in the calendar.

EDGA membership packages will be available for purchase at Ice Bowl for $40 and will include a Towel and Shirt (while supplies last). A non-swag EDGA membership will be $20 and that’ll still get you a tag for competitive league.
